Using lists provided by the Maryland Department of Public Health, NORC contact tracers called up to 1,000 newly infected residents per day. For each person called, the contact tracers ensured they had the health and social support they needed, found out the names and contact information of people with whom they had close contact, notified those contacts of their exposure, checked for symptoms of COVID-19, referred them to COVID-19 testing, and provided referrals or resources as appropriate. As Field Manager, I managed, mentored, and evaluated teams of up to 40 Contact Tracers, and as Production Manager, I oversaw and supported all Contact Tracers and Shift Supervisors during my assigned shifts.
