I have been working in the Higher Education sector since 2005 and am currently employed with Western Governors University. I support our Program Faculty over the Cybersecurity programs as Senior Manager. Prior to this, I served as a Manager in the College of Business supporting the Management Undergraduate program. Some of my responsibilities include driving programPerformance and outcomes, coaching and leading staff, managing change, supporting individual growth and development, performance management,and data analysis to identify trends. Along with other leaders, we work closely to strategize and help adjust and personalize support for each of our students so that they can be most successful. I have the opportunity every day to lead employees and help support students as they develop the skills and knowledge allowing them to achieve their greatest potential.I am truly passionate about leading and am lucky to have the opportunity to assist others in earning a degree. I enjoy collaborating with the members on my team to identify ways we can better support our employees and student body. The rewards far outweigh the challenges that come with the role and I am excited every day to help others achieve a goal they never thought possible. I have my Bachelors in Business Marketing from Northern Arizona University and my Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Arts and Education specializing in Adult Education and Training, both from the University of Phoenix. In 2021 I decided to expand my learning and enrolled and completed my third Masters in Management and Leadership. I have also obtained my Project Management Certificate through CompTIA, completed and earned my Resilience Management Certification (Social Emotional Intelligence) through University of Pennsylvania, completed Evolving Leader Certification, and went through Change Management training through Prosci.
