- Develop, coordinate, research and deliver physical fitness programs and provide fitness counseling for populations with medical conditions, functional limitations (mental and physical) and/or disabilities;- Evaluate physical fitness of members with chronic metabolic conditions and musculoskeletalinjuries;- Review assessments of medical providers on physiological, physical and occupational limitations andrestrictions for physical fitness programming and exercise prescription;- Refer clients require lifestyle, supplementary medical assessments or medical advice to service providers- Establish and maintain partnerships with network of professional contacts.- Data collection, data assessment, case management and report writing - Assist Health Promotion staff to promote healthy practices and injury prevention;- Deliver and facilitate fitness, health and injury reduction related workshops for adult audiences;- Budget administration and purchasing of equipment to support Reconditioning Program- Personnel administration - Perform administrative duties including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email, website maintenance, and internet browsing;- Apply policies, procedures, and regulations;

- Coordinate, prepare, and conduct physical fitness programming including personal training andteaching fitness classes;- Delivery of BMOQ/PLQ fitness and health modules including classroom and gym instruction, andfitness class/lesson plan evaluation.- Evaluate physical fitness (FORCE, ExPres, CSOR, CP, JTF2, and BMSS);- Coordinate and facilitate local sports challenge tournaments;- Assist with the Regional and National sports program;- Assist with the purchase and maintenance of Fitness and Recreation equipment;- Create and maintain recreation council memberships/membership database;- Supervise and mentor student placements;
