Founded in 1993 with headquarters in Victoria BC, Canada; the company had its principal sales office in Westport Massachusetts and service professionals available to clients on-site throughout the world.The company was recognized internationally for the development and marketing of environmental water process technologies including the ActiveCell™ biofilm carrier process, CleanSea® shipboard water process, and PhotoStack™ advanced oxidation process.

Mayatan School provides a bilingual (Spanish and English) education for children in and around Copán Ruinas, Honduras. Copán is situated in the Western Highlands of Honduras, near the border with Guatemala. In a country increasingly dependent on tourism and becoming more integrated into the global economy, their mission is to give these children a command of the English language as well as a generally higher standard of education than is available in the public school system. Many teachers in the public schools of Copán send their children to Mayatan; an endorsement perhaps. For many students this is their path out of the poverty for which Honduras unfortunately is well known.
