I successfully managed a variety of challenging projects for government and industry clients across Canada, evaluating a wide variety of contaminant classes, receptors (including Species at Risk), and spanning national parks to industrial facilities. This included statistical and data analytics, detailed predictive modelling of exposures, providing mitigation strategies, training staff, and effectively communicating the key findings and actionable recommendations for clients.

Designing and conducting risk assessments of BC contaminated sites for clients in order to allow remediation of their contaminated properties to facilitate development or property sales. I developed and managed data analytics, and conducted predictive exposure models and potential risks to people and wildlife, providing solutions on a site-by-site basis over a wide variety of site types and contaminant issues.

I expanded from mining into LNG, oil/gas pipelines, ports, and contaminated sites sectors, providing expert data management and detailed data analysis, quantitative exposure and risk modelling, and crystallizing trends for clients business decisions.

I successfully designed tailored baseline and predictive studies of the toxicology and aquatic biology programs for over 40 major mining development projects. I compiled and managed large datasets on hundreds of chemical and biological parameters, conducted data analysis and statistics, for hundreds of rivers, wetlands and lakes, summarizing spatial / temporal trends, predicting potential future impacts, and communicating to regulators, First Nations and the public stakeholders.

I provided focused consultation expertise in data analysis and toxicology to a boutique environmental firm, where I supported successful modelling and permitting of mining projects.

I served as scientific liaison between Pacific Salmon Commission and UBC scientists in a study of Fraser River sockeye bioenergetics and behaviour in the Georgia Strait. I provided expertise in data collection, management and statistics, relating to fish habitat and salmonid energetics.

I provided data analytics, statistics, and laboratory toxicology expertise in developing new soil toxicity bioassays which are currently prescribed as the standard test methods by Environment Canada. I communicated findings at scientific conferences.
