I’ve devoted my career to investigating, mediating, and solving workplace issues—both as an HR and Non-Profit executive and in house lawyer. My signature skill is analyzing the root causes of business problems and creating/executing solutions regardless of industry: media, energy, communications or non-profits. As Senior VP, Human Resources for Comcast Programming Properties, I was responsible for managing the experience for 5,000 Comcast employees being transitioned to NBCU policies, procedures and payroll. Just before this, from 2007-2011, I served as Division SVP of HR for Comcast Cable, with responsibility for designing, implementing, maintaining and ensuring operational success of human resources strategy and internal communications for the 18,000 employees in Comcast’s Eastern Division.Prior to Comcast, I spent over 15 years in the utility industry including serving as Deputy General Counsel and later as VP with PJM Interconnection, a power pooling company, and earlier in various leadership roles with PECO Energy. I also served as VP of Human Resources for Autotrader.com. Early in my career I was an attorney for Verizon Communications and with the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia. In April 2014 I joined the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers as Senior Vice President of Operations and General Counsel. Known as a fair, pragmatic, and straightforward leader who is an exceptionally quick learner, I bring objectivity and business analysis to emotionally charged issues, further education initiatives, and help to develop strong internal relationships. Accolades include:✬Insightful leader who works tirelessly on behalf of employees and senior management ✬Incredible depth of knowledge in every aspect of HR✬Trailblazer who operates with the highest level of integrity✬Solution and action orientedI’m also engaged in a variety of community and industry organizations and support colleagues both as an informal and formal mentor.
