In this role, I served as the primary liaison between our billing office and approximately 20 physician practices across Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. Additionally, I was the immediate contact between practice management and senior company leadership. I managed on-boarding of new clients, from initial project plans to post implementation review. By developing new ways to streamline in-practice workflows, I guided our clients to save money and increase their bottom line. I have the ability to communicate complex IT processes to the non-technical person and bridged the gap between the centralized IT department and end users. I am skilled at troubleshooting a variety of issues over the phone and through email. I developed initial and remedial training sessions for end users and documentation of best practices for NextGen and RCx Rules to increase effective use of the software. I also communicated physician credentialing and contracting needs to third-party enrollment representatives, and worked with various health insurance companies to solve non-payment issues.

I managed Quinnipiac University's Rocky Top Student Center at our upperclassmen campus, York Hill, during its first year of operation. I oversaw 16 student employees and building operations between 7 am and midnight. I implemented a social media campaign to promote awareness of on-campus events and created a community in the building by connecting the various departments that inhabit the space. I served as the primary contact for all departments in the building and led two employee trainings, including one on the "FISH" philosophy. I produced online training modules in order to cross-train employees as well.

I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. While on campus, I was involved with the Student Programming Board, Student Government Association, Senior Week, and Hillel. I also worked within the student activities office and was inspired to pursue a career in higher education from the staff members.

I prepared promotional materials for upcoming events, researched target audiences for special projects, and ordered promotional items from both internal vendors and those outside the University.

In the Communications department at Western Massachusetts Electric Company, I drafted articles for the monthly internal newsletter, prepared news releases for external media, prepared information kits for stakeholders, and planned the construction launch event for our inaugural solar project in the Berkshires. Additionally, I managed WMECo's social media outlets, including Facebook and Twitter, which included responding to customer comments, posting energy efficiency tips and taking proactive measure to ensure positive mention of WMECo. I prepared internal employee communication e-mails to announce new employees and company changes. I drafted text for summer bill inserts that were sent to over 200,000 customers. I worked with a team to design advertisements, billboards, a new newsletter template, invitations to our solar launch, and signs for upcoming WMECo events.

I wrote scripts for Web-based training modules about the wholesale electricity market.
