Lindsay Williams, MD is a family physician and serves a critical access hospital in rural Kansas as an emergency care provider. She is the founder of MD Legal Consulting and specializes in pre-trial/pre-litigation medical consulting to attorneys. She is also an Affiliate Professor in the Department of History and Philosophy of Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.Dr. Williams received her undergraduate degree from Truman State University and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, and has practiced in both Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Lindsay Williams' broad-scope training has allowed her to practice in a multitude of settings including the outpatient clinic, the emergency department, inpatient medicine, and nursing homes. As a black female physician, she has a vested interest in addressing health inequities that impact her community and has participated in several grassroots initiatives working toward racial equity. In her free time, she volunteers with Care Beyond the Boulevard, a local non-profit, providing free compassionate medical care to homeless people and uninsured people in Metro Kansas City.
