Homewood Interiors is a comprehensive interior design firm, catering to the individual needs of residential and corporate clients in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Delaware.Job includes but are not limited to:- Visiting potential clients homes to get a detailed sense of their vision and work scope- Participates in various design projects from concept to completion - Collaborates with team members to launch ideas- Provides input at creative meetings and shares ideas- Uses feedback from team to hone skills- Sources new products and makes client selections- Provides team support throughout the execution of campaigns and projects - Creates engaging designs from paint, flooring, fabrics, furnishings, lighting and more according to requirements- Applies elements of color, texture, pattern, light, scale and balance to each design- Meets with clients to pitch creative ideas that enhance projects- Uses Ivy software to create proposals with detailed photos, descriptions, pricing, and more for the client to review- Utilizes the Canvas scanner to effectively produce CAD drawings- Designs the clients dream home in SketchUp for an impactful presentation - Meets with contractors, architects, and specialists to keep clients project on track- Understands project requirements and concepts- Orders products ranging from detailed custom furnishings, window treatments, accessories and more
