About Lindsey Fuller
“The principle of self-determination is essential to our community realizing that we are enough- we’re the ones we’ve been waiting for. Only we can heal our community to ensure our youth thrive from cradle through career!”Lindsey Fuller (she/her/sis) is an unapologetic and passionate advocate for scholars and marginalized communities. Prior to joining The Teaching Well and after serving as both a teacher and school administrator, she served as a Regional Director of Student Services. In that role, she supported 11 Bay Area schools and led all non-academic initiatives, including mental health programming, behavioral supports, socio-emotional learning, and crisis management. Lindsey has 15 years of experience founding, scaling, and leading affinity groups. She is a trainer in Restorative Practices (IIRP) and is state certified in Mediation (CCEJ).Lindsey is a native of the Oakland/Berkeley community, the child of two educators, and mother of three. She is a values-driven, service leader who centers integrity, loyalty, and a relentless focus on creating the enabling conditions for educators to serve the whole child. Lindsey believes deeply in the work of The Teaching Well because to truly reach collective liberation, we must find ways to sustain adults in our schools to ensure trauma-sensitive continuity of care. Through human-centered, anti-racist systems, strong climate, rigorous instruction, and culturally responsive practices, schools and families can work collaboratively to wrap around our youth. As a “Panther Cub,” she fights with the strength of her ancestors behind her for the liberation of her own children and young people everywhere.
