Wasatch Community Gardens (WCG) is a nonprofit organization that empowers people to grow and eat healthy, organic, local food. As Grants Director, I am responsible for: 1) Overseeing WCG’s Foundation and Government Grant fundraising activities, 2) Collaborating with WCG's Director of Individual & Corporate Giving and Executive Director to develop and execute an annual fundraising plan for the organization, and 3) Assisting with creation of online and print fundraising/marketing materials.

The Tandana Foundation is a nonprofit organization that offers cross-cultural volunteer opportunities, scholarships, and funding for small community projects in highland Ecuador and Mali's Dogon Country. I assist Tandana in planning and executing service trips and health care volunteer vacations in rural communities near Otavalo, Ecuador. In 2008, I spent 7 months living and working in these communities. I oversaw Tandana's first-ever Summer Volunteer Vacation, during which we taught English as a second language to approximately 50 elementary and high school students.

I helped organize Rowland Hall's biennial fundraising Auction event, which raised over $225,000 for the school. My responsibilities included entering all donors and items into the fundraising software, generating thank you letters and reports, managing the budget, and overseeing volunteers.

DharmaTech is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing positive social change by empowering nonprofits with high impact technology solutions. DharmaTech provides social and environmental nonprofits nationwide with open source websites and databases, custom software development, and value-add consulting. As Associate Director, I oversaw fundraising, marketing, and administrative tasks for the organization.
