I am a fall 2020 graduate of the Occupational Therapy program at Colorado State University. I have a strong passion for working in pediatric populations. During my time in school, I focused on expanding my views on OT, including getting more involved in adult populations, various practice settings and research. I appreciate the opportunity to broaden my perspective on meaningful occupation, rehabilitation and disability in any situation. I have volunteered with students in special education classes throughout my time in the public school system in Las Vegas, NV due to having an older sister with Rett's Syndrome. I began learning about becoming an advocate for individuals with disabilities in 2011 and am committed to continue learning how to best support this population.
