I am from Brunswick, GA and graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing. I currently work as a Senior Leadership Consultant with Alpha Gamma Delta International Headquarters. As a first year LC, I have learned time management, strategic planning, and solving conflicts with simple solutions. I have worked with collegians, university staff, volunteers, advisors and fellow staff members. Now as a second year, I will be working on re establishing a new chapter which consists of having skills such as event planning, strategic planning, budgeting, working with other organizations, and facilitations. While reestablishing that chapter I also work with chapters that are open. I support them on a more connected level in all things recruitment and the overall member experience. While at GCSU I held positions for different student organizations like Georgia College Miracle and my sorority Alpha Gamma Delta. For Georgia College Miracle, I served as the Internal Branch Director. In that role I oversaw a group of fellow students who held positions under the Internal Branch and I planned our main event that occurred in the Spring. I also held a student marketing assistant job at the university and an internship position on the marketing team for Make-A-Wish Georgia. For Alpha Gamma Delta I held the Vice President-Recruitment where I lead our Primary Recruitment. Through the student leadership roles I held, I learned how to lead a group efficiently, be creative, plan a big event, communicate with students but also adults in and outside the university, and network. I look forward to seeing what these opportunities lead me to in the future.
