I am an independent consultant and President of LKT Consulting LLC with over 17 years of Power Systems Planning consulting experience. LKT Consulting is proud to be a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) certified consulting firm offering Power Systems Planning Services. I understand the electric and power industry. My experience at Burns & McDonnell for over 14 years gave me opportunities to build on my specialization in generation and load interconnection studies, transmission planning studies, power system analysis and NERC TPL compliance studies.I’ve developed experience with multiple planning software programs including PTI PSS/E, PowerWorld, Aspen, GE PSLF and MUST, all of which have given me broad exposure to the analysis of transmission and generation systems. I’ve also helped a variety of utilities throughout the United States and Alberta, Canada, with transmission and generation needs including short- and long-term transmission planning studies, load and generation interconnection studies, generation siting and screening studies and transient switching studies. When I’m not in the office or on project sites helping my wide range of clients, I enjoy spending time outdoors and camping with my family.
