Manager, Technology Systems Architecture
Current•Design, implement, manage and maintain district data center, district wide core infrastructure services, and Windows and Linux network environments for all Saanich School District schools and sites, and maintain up to date documentation and inventory of systems•Mentor a team of Systems Administrators, Programmers, and Systems Analysts, and assist them with ongoing projects and tasks•Test and install servers and core network hardware, printers, configure and deploy workstation images, and deploy new workstations, laptops, and devices•Package and automate deployment of applications to endpoint devices•Deploy, manage, and monitor firewalls and system monitoring software•Design and deploy security policies to maintain system integrity and performance•Purchase new software licenses and manage volume licensing agreements•Provide technical assistance and training to staff and students district wide
