Lead the Visual Design team for Product delivery. Designing with a strong focus on quality, consistent, system-wide thinking; crisp, pixel-perfect design in all areas of the BlackBerry product; and the mentoring and development of other designers.Key tasks/achievements:• Led the Visual Design team in the delivery and execution of BlackBerry 7 (the best reviewed BlackBerry yet), including definition and execution of the Bold Touch device. • Developed the design story behind the material and finish used in the update of iconography for BB7.• Integral, senior level designer for the BlackBerry 6 delivery and rollout (which included the award-winning Torch device).• Involved in defining systems for the current PlayBook development and visual environment.

Integral member of the design team working on advertising design, page layout and fast delivery of production assets on time and with accuracy.Key tasks/achievements:• Successful involvement in multiple OCNA and CCNA award winning advertising campaigns and designs. • Launched successful, innovative advertising designs to expand the newspaper's revenue base (winning the Publisher's Choice award for "Best Idea" at the CCNAs)• Introduced custom illustration as a viable add-on for multiple advertisers and campaigns• Expanded the online presence of the newspaper to help include deeper archival resources and broader web appeal

Lead visual designer for Marketing and Product delivery.Ositech produces PCMCIA cards and Office telephone software solutions. I was the lead designer for their marketing collateral as they moved into retail with cellular connectivity cards.Key tasks/achievements:• Helped design and launch the first public product line for Ositech (The "King" series of cards) - this involved moving their award-winning business product line into a consumer-facing visual and brand look and feel. • Worked with small design firms to create the first consumer-facing web presence for the company• Helped design tradeshow collateral, POP materials and sell-sheets for in-store use• Wrote and designed QuickStart documentation to accompany retail and corporate products
