My main objective was to maintain the integrity of the UPS air network via real time management of any and all exceptions that had the potential to disrupt service to our customers. This was achieved by managing the company's assets, staffing, and resources through contingency procedures to rescue at risk volume. • Protected service on packages in the air network by ensuring all reach their sort destination in a timely manner, using the most cost effective means available. • Gathered, coordinated, and disseminated pertinent information to and from all necessary groups, regarding changes made to the air network, due to operational constraints (Weather, volume, aircraft mechanicals, infrastructure issues, etc.).• Monitored all UPS flights from origin to destination, coordinated ad hoc system changes as necessary, arranged movement for air packages that miss scheduled flights, and communicated the status of the UPS air system. • Also was responsible for the strategic placement of 18 Contingency aircraft, successful execution of 30 minute Hot Spare launches, and resolve performance issues as needed.
