Spearheaded design from Proof Of Concept to working app in 8 months. Using prototypes and wireframes, developed fast approach to execute design with quick user testing sessions to validate our ideas. Concepted with co-founders and wireframed an app to chat with emoji from external libraries. The emoji would be suggested as you type and presented in a carousel to quickly choose and continue typing. The concept was to allow for client editing of emoji, event related emoji and in-app purchases.Partnered with Dick Clark productions to feature live updates from the Billboard Music Awards live event in Las Vegas. Organized a music journalist to live broadcast peqs during the event.

Playa Vista

Concept, Design and Asset creation for Qode companion app currently in the app store. The app lets you set shortcuts, get updates and change languages on the hardware keyboards.

Santa Monica

Pushed for more video all over Yahoo with Screen and the video player team, created and maintained a world class video site and player, including Flickr. The new video player design is minimal to the max and supports the world class SNL videos and Yahoo Original programming on the site.

Redesigned the eHow brand site to match the playful new logo. Defined magazine verticals to split up content and designed a font-specific look for each with a bold set of colors.

Beverly Hills

Led the creative team for the music group, at the time separate from the MySpace site. Defined a voice and look for the homepage and worked towards updating the artist pages to make them look unique for each artist but unify common features such as photos and players. Designed an analytics view for each artist to track followers based on region and allow connecting with superfans.

I work with a team of graphic and interaction designers and create and concept for media players, facebook and myspace apps and work with motion graphics and flash to prototype complex projects.

Started as a senior designer and working up to a manager role. Defined and concepted multiple sites for the Nissan and Infiniti brands. Led smaller teams and worked as sole designer on other projects for various clients from Sony Style to DHL to 24 Hour Fitness. Won several awards during this time, an Addy and a Commarts Site of the Week.

Work with small teams designing web based experiences for many clients based in Germany. Clients included Telekom, BMW, Audi, WDR. Lead designer for Yello Electric company which developed a tablet based social media platform for all their customers.

Cologne Area, Germany

activ8 was founded in Cologne, Germany. The first project was a cd-rom portfolio for Ron Arad Associates, a london architect. This was shown at his Milan show during the Salone. The second project was a cd for Ingo Maurer which then continued to become a website. The cd was shown at lectures, different stores, and at trade fairs around the world. An interactive furniture presentation was featured in WIRED and was featured in several galleries around Germany.

Cologne Area, Germany

worked in a small team of industrial and graphic designers. worked on all phases of projects from presentation renderings to autoCAD to building models for several large german companies, Barmag, Trilux, etc.

interned at the Designer and Architect's London office in Camden. Produced some of the iconic chairs and furniture that Ron Arad was making at the time. Learned all about the design and architecture happening in London at the time.
