ABB (Contract): Logistics and Sourcing Specialists.To effectively manage defined processes for designated international heavy lift and project cargo operations of ABB customers. To ensure client satisfaction for all project related shipments. Responsibility includes: • Floating the RFQ to various Transporter for the Heavy Lift Transport • Collecting and Evaluating the Quote received from the Transporter • Negotiating for the best pricing • Awarding the job and preparing PO text for the LBU.• Once Shipment is ready for collection we plan and schedule project cargo shipments to meet cargo required on site. • Perform Technical evaluation and risk assessments on new and existing project plans with Sourcing team. • Preparing/reviewing all documentation relevant to heavy lift and project cargo shipments, including but not limited to commercial documents, shipping documents, invoices, licenses, special permits, import & export documents and provide feedback to nominated third parties, clients and other stake holders. • Execute work in a manner which results in the company meeting or exceeding internal key performance indicators (KPIs). • Monitor and update operational KPIs of third parties to superiors according to clients’ requirements. Maintain information flows between clients, ABB team and third parties. • Investigate cargo damage, environmental as well as health & safety incidents supported by clients’ counterparts and third parties according to ABB and/or clients SOPs. • Attend internal meetings as well as meetings with clients according to their business requirements. • Escalate any operational and commercial deviations to clients and superiors during the course of business also record any commercial savings • Identify opportunities to create additional commercial and operational value for clients’ heavy lift & project cargo activities.

Overall supervision of the operational activities of two warehouses falling under BSH group. Regular tracking and analyzing stocks using WMS-SAGE and sending weekly reports to the management. Primarily focusing on stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancy across both the warehouses. Taking part in weekly management meeting comprising of sales, operation and installation team heads to discuss the optimization of all operational functions. Responsibilities include: • Regularly coordinating with shipping agencies for movement of sea and road consignments.• Planning and scheduling of in-house transport and deliveries on a daily basis.• Assigning task and duties to the store keepers and laborers in both the branches.• Implementing proper rack allocation to ensure quick turnaround of stock.• Monthly performance review of warehouse staff and laborers.• Conducting site and supplier visits on need basis to review proper offloading, stacking of material provided etc. from the warehouse.

Job role includes: Supervision and Dispatch of goods on time. Managing and coordinating the overall Inventory management of the décor division. Coordination with Engineering Team, Purchase team and Warehouse team for proper delivery of goods. Report to the management regarding the Inward–outward flow of materials, availability, overheads, etc. Communicating to the in-house and outside transport and shipping companies for the proper dispatch / delivery of goods. Maintain proper rack allocation. Update the sales team regarding the dispatch.Responsibilities include • Coordinating with Sales team for the delivery Schedule. • Defining role to store employees and routine follow up • Allocation of Job to the dispatch team • Supervising the loading at the time of dispatch. • Coordinating with Procurement and supplying team for the proper dispatch of material • Controlling manpower & Movement of Vehicles • Checking of rack allocation and material availability in the stores • Monitoring and controlling the store inventories for the MEP materials through the Oracle data base system (ERP)• Coordinating with construction managers and site engineers for their requirement of material, machinery and equipment’s and arrange to deliver it on site before required time. • On-site monitoring and co-coordinating with Labor force.

Providing daily report to the management towards the Inward–outward flow of finished goods and raw material. Talking to the transporter and shipping company for the proper dispatch and delivery of goods. Maintaining proper rack allocation. Updating the sales team regarding dispatch.

Job role & responsibility included: negotiating with the shipping agents for the rates, Looking after the movement of goods, Checking with shipping agent or supplier in case of delay or issue, Communicating with Overseas Supplier for the readiness of goods and arranging the dispatch as required by the principal, Supervising the team for timely closure of the case file and timely invoicing, Providing Logistics team with better shipping rates and agents for better movement of the cargo and contribute towards Logistics cost cutting.

Job role & responsibilities included: understanding international logistics, import and export, be fully conversant with import and export documentation, cargo clearance and forwarding (air and sea), Shipment planning, documentation, Online updating, Overseas correspondence, Arranging for the clearance and warehousing of the goods for the principals, coordinating with the shipping lines and vendors for the proper movement of inbound and outbound cargo, Supervise loading operation of heavy and sensitive cargo in the warehouse and liaising with them for proper stocking of the incoming cargo, Coordination with WFP (World Food Program) for the relocation of Goods for the GOAL-Ireland (An International Humanitarian Organization) to WFP warehouse, Providing reports to GOAL and Golden Falcon International, as and when the shipment is moved to WFP warehouse.

Responsibilities included handling the sea, road and air freight operations for various clients, coordinating with the shipping lines for rates as well as space for various destinations, Independently handling the customs procedure for all the free zone and local export shipments, responding to customers queries and requirements, preparing, finalizing and reviewing logistics schedules, Compiling and presenting proposals to new and prospective customers, Compiling and presenting weekly/monthly stock report of the goods stored in the warehouse, Interacting with worldwide agents to update them on status on shipment, invoicing, etc.
