My name is Lin Yang. I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in Economics at the School of Economics, Georgia Institute of Technology. My research interests lie in applied microeconomics at the intersection of development and environmental economics, with a focus on foreign aid, health, and armed conflict. My strengths lie in both quantitative and qualitative research, with a focus on utilizing coding languages such as Python, Stata, R, MySQL and mapping software ArcGIS to do analysis and extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. My passion extends beyond the classroom, and I am excited about the prospect of contributing my skills to an organization that values innovation.
