Serve as principal advisor to the Marine Corps Forces South (MARFORSOUTH) Commanding General as the Antiterrorism Chief to include Continuity of Operations (COOP); Installation Emergency Management (IEM); Law Enforcement (LE); and Physical Security (PS).As the Mission Assurance Program Manager responsible for supporting identification of terrorist threats, standardization of threat levels, force protection conditions, and dissemination of threat information. Develop and maintain MARFORSOUTH’s Mission Assurance Plans to include contingency deployment plans. Ensure Geographic Combatant Commander (United States Southern Command) policies and directives are incorporated into all phases of operational planning. Oversee the development of the protection programs for subordinate deploying units. As the Mission Assurance Program manager supports US Marine Corps operations and exercises in South America, Central American, and Caribbean area of responsibility.

Principal advisor to the Current Operations Director and TRADOC Main Command Post / Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during emergency/contingency conditions and on a day-to-day basis, working on such specific projects as Chemical, Biological and Nuclear incident planning, prevention, and response, managing the Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) program, natural or manmade disasters, various related standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other activities associated with executing current operations.As the TRADOC G33 Current Operations Emergency Manager, responsible for the management of the Crisis Action Team, that supports 1438 recruiting stations across the United States, recruiting over 83,000 Soldiers, commissioned offices at 937 university and colleges; and support over $350 million scholarships to support Army Senior Reserve Officer Training corp. TRADOC is also responsible for overseeing 122,000 Soldiers graduate Basic Combat Training, and trains / educates over 572,000 students every year to include British, French, and Germany army units. $8.0B budget - $4.1B Operating Budget and $3.9B in military salaries with 47,452 Employees (34.3k Total Army and 13.1 Army Civilians). TRADOC oversees 32 Army schools organized under 10 Centers of Excellence each focused on a separate area of expertise within the Army.
