Hi, I’m Michelle!I’m passionate about two things, in the following order: People and Science.The world and the promise of biotechnology captivated me from my first day as an intern at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), igniting a curiosity that has only grown since.In my current role, as Channel Program Manager at New England Biolabs (NEB), I blend my strengths and passions to foster partnerships with NEB's key distributors and digital marketplaces.My prior work experience has spanned the technical and lab managerial side of bench science, at a then start-up biotechnology company called Affinivax, which focused on vaccine development.In 2018, I transitioned to Sales/Marketing at Cytiva (fka GE Healthcare Life Sciences). I then spent a year in a heavily customer service oriented role, as a Technical Support Scientist at NEB.Each experience has allowed me to hone specific skill sets, such as laboratory logistics and inventory management. Pivotally, these experiences also taught me the importance of relationship building and teamwork.Personally and professionally, I am always aiming to improve upon who I was yesterday, even if that’s just 1% everyday.
