Sr. PM for cross-functional Trust & Safety organization of 12 engineers, focusing on spam and abuse detection and reduction, internal tooling, compliance and privacy features, and wellbeing core elements of the app. Working to make queer people safe around the world.

- Helped form and was the sole PM of an agile scrum team focused on anti-abuse, trust & safety, spam, and compliance related features. Created a roadmap based on stakeholder needs and available resourcing. Ran team ceremonies and maintained a prioritized backlog.- Product owner of Grindr Lite, a standalone app aimed at emerging markets. Oversaw app from conception to launch, including design, development, legal compliance, press, ASO, and eventual sunset. The app had 300k+ installs, a faster cold start time and a more engaged user base.- Led a cross-departmental team to productize and ship a GDPR-compliant self-serve access & portability feature. Ramped up internal processes to handle increased request bandwidth from 300 manually to 30k automated requests/month.- Saw an opportunity to revamp an underperforming in-app rating flow and directly increased global app ratings from 3.6 to 4.4 with 80% of 17k ratings coming in at 5 stars within the first month of launch. - Leveraged user testing and analytics to iterate and ship a myriad of safety features impacting the LGBTQ+ population globally.

- Led QA on Grindr Unlimited, a new premium subscription tier with a variety of features. Wrote test-cases and collaborated with engineers to ensure user’s expectations were exceeded.

- Triaged all site defects reported from external stakeholders; worked cross-functionally to set expectations for resolution and followed up on issues to ensure they got prioritized and addressed. - Primary tester on the A/B testing optimization team, narrowing in on high-value customer acquisition, retention, first-user experience, and conversion at scale. A particular feature, overhauling an incentivized gift with purchase program, saw a $3mm+ annual run rate post-launch.
