As Executive Director, I oversaw the effective operation of the North Dakota Corn Growers Association (NDCGA). I worked with the board of directors to develop and implement programs that enhance the profitability of North Dakota farms. I ensured the continued growth and viability of the Association by actively seeking opportunities to increase membership and identify potential ongoing sources of revenue. I advocated for the ND corn industry with national and state policy leaders, and was North Dakota's liaison to the National Corn Growers Association.

-Collaborated with legislative correspondents and aides to track legislation, research issues, write correspondence, and assist in hearing preparation. -Attended hearings, counted votes, communicated with various offices and committees regarding sponsored legislation. -Performed administrative tasks and served as an office representative to the Stennis Congressional Intern Program.-Aided constituents with questions and concerns, and served as a Capitol tour guide.

-Organize and manage the Ag Education Center for the six-day Red River Valley Fair by corresponding with 21 agricultural businesses and associations, recruiting and managing volunteers, creating educational signage and activities to provide a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages.-Compose news releases, grant applications and email marketing campaigns.-Build relationships and correspond with members of the media.-Maintain Red Red River Valley Fair and the Big Iron Farm Show websites and mobile applications.-Create a budget for the Ag Ed Center.-Research and create curriculum for agriculture education program.

-Marketed the City of Barnesville to surrounding communities and helped with the development of community activities-Enhanced basic office and computer skills performing multiple tasks by assisting the EDA director.-Displayed the ability to take quality photos when gathering images for publication use.-Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication when creating press releases-Managed the City of Barnesville's Facebook page.
