Responsible for promoting and maintaining academic vigor within the school in conjunction with the Principal. Work with students and parents, positively motivating them to value and uphold rigorous, developmentally appropriate academic pursuits. Assist Principal in building a strong faculty capable of, and committed to, integrally forming students and achieving academic excellence. Supervise teachers to ensure curriculum expectations are met through best practices. Evaluate and recommend improvements to the program of education, create schedules and collaborate on academic calendar.

Guiding and mentoring students, always mindful that as a role model my actions, attitudes and words should continually foster growth in virtue.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students. Adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Planning and conducting activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Instructing students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Formally and informally evaluating student progress. Conferring with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators in order to resolve student behavioral and/or academic problems.

Responsible for promoting and maintaining student formative discipline within the school. Worked one-on-one with the students, positively motivating them to value and uphold virtuous conduct. Oversaw a student body of approximately 425 students in grades Pre-K3 to fifth grade. Devised and coordinated logistics for, implemented practicalities of, and maintained a formative environment in the school (i.e. mystique, physical setting, assemblies, classes, campaigns, etc.). Ensured effective communication of school rules and student code of conduct. Provided personal attention to students utilizing positive motivation and an understanding of the developmental needs of children.
