As Lead MRI Tech/MRI Safety Officer for MSHA, my role requires me to oversee the MRI Safety policies and procedures which demands good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills. I also train new technologists, communicate all updates with staff and physicians, as well as organize and manage the ACR Accreditation program for our MRI department. I am able to work well with the Radiologists regarding scanning alterations or policy changes. As the MRI Safety Officer, I act as the go-to advisor for any and all MRI related issues at my hospital. I am also a super-user of our McKesson PACS system and have a thorough understanding of correct procedural ordering for imaging modalities. I am currently seeking Leadership opportunities to advance my career.
