My original career goal was to become a Veterinarian. Pursuing this goal, I enrolled in a Biology Science major and completed three out of four educational years. However, after working in the field for more than three years, I realized that it was not the career path I would want to pursue long-term. As a result, I decided to switch my major to Computer Science.Despite changing my career goal, I still find joy in being a Veterinary Technician. This role has equipped me with valuable skills that I can utilize now and in the future. For instance, Teamwork and effective Communication are essential in medical fields. Additionally, my ability to Learn Quickly has allowed me to adapt to new situations efficiently. Moreover, working in medical fields has strengthened my ability to handle stress effectively.

I started working there as a regular employee, but soon had the opportunity to advance to a supervisor position. At the time, management was rebranding one of the stores, and I took the lead from inception to stabilization. The following year, I was transferred to a newly opened store to assist with its development. Over the course of 2.5 years in these roles, I acquired valuable skills that continue to benefit me today. These include excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities, honed through frequent interactions with customers and staff. I also developed strong strategic planning and organizational skills, managing schedules and overseeing product orders. While neither management nor sales aligned with my long-term career goals, I transitioned to other positions later on.
