A communications professional with more than 20 years' experience, I was recognised by the CIPR as Britain’s Outstanding Young Communicator in 2012 (I'm far from young now!) and most recently by the PRCA as City and Financial Professional of the Year 2020. I am passionate about communications and am motivated by developing smart communications strategies that help clients to deliver on their business objectives, realise their growth potential or to achieve their strategic aims. I have worked with FTSE listed companies, utilities, professional services businesses and clients in the tourism, retail and care sectors. Supporting clients of all sizes, from SMEs to multinational companies, start ups to well established brands, I provide strategic board level consultancy, develop and execute tactical communications plans and manage re-brand projects. I have worked with complex and emotive brands that have been misunderstood or have a complex set of stakeholders and therefore require sensitive or adaptable messaging that resonates with each of these groups.Reputation management and crisis communications is my area of specialism, helping many clients prepare for, respond to, and recover from unexpected or unforeseen crises, including industrial accidents, press speculation and HR issues. I have kept crisis situations out of the media spotlight, leaving clients in a strong position to regain control and maintain business continuity.
