• BSEE expert and advisor for well control, well integrity, and alternate drilling designs used on the Offshore Continental Shelf (OCS) for drilling, completion, workover and intervention operations.
• Develop appropriate policy and guidance for well control, alternate drilling designs and engineering issues used on the OCS for drilling, completion, workover and intervention operations.
• Serve as technical advisor to the regions, districts, headquarters, and other government agencies for technically complex matters/topic including but not limited to research projects, new technologies and/or processes.
• BSEE's Liaison to other agencies, work groups, code organizations, classification societies, and standards organizations.
• Evaluate and review new technologies and/or processes.
• Provide technical support and strategic guidance for oil spill readiness.
