This is a professional library position with the Secretary of State’s Office responsible for youth services for the Wolfner Library. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the library’s program of service to children and young adults under the guidelines of the National Library Service. The State Library/Library Development offers a coordinated approach to youth services through working with statewide agencies and organizations to develop partnerships and promote youth library services, workshops and training sessions for youth services staff, and annual statewide summer reading program for youth and teens; and grant programs to expand and improve library services to youth.

Assists Missouri Digital Heritage staff with collections support by using CONTENTdm and available software to make corrections to texts and metadata. Assists Technology Consultant, CE Consultant and other staff with support of Library Development websites. Assists in maintaining WebJunction Missouri web pages, maintains calendar of workshop events for site, and assists in maintaining Missouri Center for the Book web pages, focusing on the Missouri Authors database. Provides data entry and updates to maintain contact information, grant program records, and mailing lists in the MOLLI program. Provides support for workshops and webinars. Schedules available trainers or presenters with libraries; transports equipment to locations; sets up and tests equipment; cleans, checks, charges and stores devices after each workshop. Provides technical support for the GoToTraining webinar software.
