Lisa works with athletes and teams as part of the support system that helps them to enhance mental health, wellness, and performance. Lisa has worked with a wide variety of sports and with athletes ranging from an introductory, grassroots level to an elite, international level. Focusing on the athlete as a whole person brings a holistic approach and emphasizes the individual and their own unique experiences. Lisa enjoys working with athletes to find the individual aspects that contribute to and enhance their well-being, and emphasizes these as a critical component to success, both in and out of sport. Lisa works with individuals in order to determine the areas that they can target for success, to integrate and improve on their mental health and wellness, and to develop personal performance plans. In her work with teams, Lisa discusses topics such as the environmental impact on wellness and performance, team culture, group dynamics and cohesion, and develop applied interventions based on mental skills in order to help the team reach their goals. In addition to working with teams and athletes, Lisa also works with coaches through individual sessions and group workshops. Lisa has presented at a variety of conferences and workshops, discussing how individual and team wellness, communication, and team dynamics contribute to team high performance. Lisa is a Registered Psychologist (Saskatchewan) and is a Professional Member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association.
