Recruited to lead development of McKesson’s flagship next generation healthcare product, to be developed based on an existing product in the McKesson US portfolio. Based on development risk, costs and timescales a strategic acquisition was made instead of proceeding with this development.

Responsibility for technology strategy and product management across the International Operations Group, consisting of development teams in UK, France and Netherlands. Development in multiple technologies (.Net, Java, MS SQL, Oracle) and multiple methodologies (classic waterfall, Scrum, hybrid forms).

Responsible for designing solutions and building a services portfolio that matches current and future client requirements. This includes mobile, digital, user experience, visual engineering, SAP and Enterprise Architecture as well as traditional service portfolios such as application development, testing services and application support. Work in conjunction with global services team to ensure consistency of approach.

Brought in as consultant Enterprise Architect tasked with leading architecture engagements with major life sciences clients, becoming trusted advisor at VP and CxO level, coaching business executives to understand the opportunities and limitations of technology. Leader of multiple client engagements.

Seconded to BT Health where I am working on the London cluster of the NHS National Programme for IT as an enterprise architect.

Chief Technical Architect for the London LSP programme, a £1bn programme. I have overall responsibility for the technical solution.

Seconded to fighter aircraft manufacturer for 15 months to work on largest defence contract in military history ($18 bn). Application was J2EE-based using WebLogic, Oracle and webMethods, and involved partners from the US, UK, Denmark, The Netherlands and Italy.
