Manage business functions as well as overall operations of office with focus on follow up and implementation. Reports to managing partners and facilitates weekly management meetings. In addition to general responsibility for financial planning and controls, human capital administration, systems and physical facilities, position plans for the changing needs of the organization and share responsibility with the appropriate partners for strategic planning, practice management and marketing.Exemplify strong leadership qualities with an ability to exhibit an enthusiastic attitude.Financial Management:Including planning, budgeting, analysis, financial reporting, general accounting, billing and collections, cash flow control, banking relationships, tax planning, tax reporting to CPAs, trust accounting, full payroll cycle, 401k administration and other financial management functions.Human Capital Management:Including recruiting, selection, training and development, performance evaluations, salary & benefits administration, employee relations, motivation, counseling, disciplining, discharging, personnel data administration, job design, resource allocation and other human capital management functions for the legal, paralegal and support staff.Systems Management:Including systems analysis, working with outside information services team, records management, library and subscription management, office automation and efficiencies, information storage and retrieval, and other systems management functions.Facilities Management:Including interface with building management/agents, purchasing, inventory control, records storage, telephone/IT, mail, and other facilities management functions.Operations/Management:Including strategic and tactical planning, change management, office leasing, space planning and renovations, business development, broker relationships, quality control, organizational development, firm planning processes and other general management functions.
