About Lisa Jensen

Lisa Jensen is the Corporate Director of Provincial Patient Access (Integrated Access) for Covenant Health in Alberta. Covenant Health is Canada’s largest Catholic health care organization, with over 14, 000 physicians, employees, and volunteers serving communities across Alberta. A major provider in Alberta’s integrated health system, Covenant Health works with Alberta Health Services and community partners to positively influence the health of Albertans through a broad range of programs and services in their hospitals, health centres, and continuing care facilities. Lisa has a strong foundation in health care rooted by her beginnings as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with clinical experience in most acute care areas as well as community and aboriginal health. She also holds her Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) which has allowed her to pursue a career in acute care site/sector operations. Fueled by her knowledge and passion for patient centred care, Lisa has been tasked to develop and operationalize an Access & Flow strategy that will ensure patients and residents receive the right care from the right provider at the right time and location. Her endless energy and strong leadership has led Covenant Health down the Path to Home, innovation which transforms the business rhythm of acute care and optimizes care delivery.
