Can Do MS helps 42,000+ families living with MS thrive each year, delivering health and wellness education programs across the country. Legendary Olympic skier Jimmie Heuga founded the organization, concentrating programs on exercise, nutrition, symptom management and motivation for change. Our vision is to strengthen every family living with MS.

Led strategic planning for Colorado’s largest nonprofit organization, delivering over 60M pounds of food annually. Goals: Help the Board define next level leadership and mission delivery, with a heavy focus on change management in programs, operations, new revenue, major gifts and board development to grow the organization significantly within three years. Acting as coach and catalyst for change in the eight-month process, I facilitated dialogue, content, and the leadership process. Both the board and staff embraced change, and have dramatically increased FBR's impact on children, families and communities.

Colorado's Community Colleges System is the largest provider of higher education in the state, serving 150,000 students annually across 13 discrete colleges. The Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges works in collaboration with the colleges foundations, raising and distributing millions in scholarship support to students. The Foundation also provides significant shared services support, including training, strategy and development expertise to the colleges and their senior teams. CCCS develops strategies to meet the workforce needs of the 21st century and provide accessible, exceptional higher education opportunities in every community.

A school and day treatment center for children with autism, The Joshua School has a staff of 90 educators and budget of $4.5M annually. Acting as Interim Executive, I quickly made difficult staffing changes, galvanized morale, aligned the organization through an open, effective change management process, and transitioned the permanent executive director efficiently, in just over two months. After shifting focus to major gift, events, and building development systems, I led the team in exceeding the annual development goals and reducing expenses by 30%.
