Teaching Yoga is my passion! I have encountered the most amazing, skilled teachers on my journey and will forever be grateful for their teachings, woven into the fabric of the teachings I share. I have had the good fortune to teach many styles of yoga, including:- Hatha; - Vinyasa;- Gentle;- Mindfulness in Motion;- Gentle Aerial;- Aerial;- Meditation;- Resort style yoga at The Parker, Palm Springs;- Private yoga classes;- Restorative Yoga;I discovered Yoga in 2010 when I was seeing an Orthopedic for bursitis in my hip and getting cortisone injections every 6 months. He told me I "have the flexibility of a guy" and I should do yoga. I expected a stretchy, candlelit, slow paced class. What I got was a level II Vinyasa Flow (thinking when I signed up that I was somewhat athletic so level II should be nice and easy). What kept me coming back was the philosophy of yoga, the non-competitiveness, non judgement, and the way I felt after a class (exhausted but in a blissful, relaxed sort of way). Several years later, I practice yoga just about every single day and each day my practice looks different. There is so much that can't be encapsulated here. If you've thought about trying it, try it!
