Five years ago, I started pursuing my love of IT. I took the courses not knowing what to expect and loved technology even more. I eventually got a short-term position doing mobile deployment. I really enjoyed helping the clients and educating them on device management and security. After that experience I realized I was hooked on technology because it combined my love of helping others with technology. I am an aspiring Data Analyst and Desktop Support Analyst and an admitted tech junkie. I have currently graduated from the Google Data Analytics course. I have also obtained a Google IT Support Specialist, Microsoft Office Specialist and CompTIA A+ Certifications focused on Computer Information Sciences and Support Services. I have over 25 years' experience in customer service. Also experience repairing, upgrading, installing software, setup, data transfer and MDM on laptops, PCs, and mobile devices.Currently I work as a Customer Service/Help Desk Tier 1 at the Office of Unified Communications. I absolutely love my job assisting the 1st responders and other support personnel in keeping systems up and running. With a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry, I feel my career in Culinary Arts has prepared and given me the skills to enter into the IT field. Just like Culinary Arts, the IT field is unpredictable, fast paced, detailed oriented and exact in execution.
