As a Clinical Account Manager at DigniCap, I consult with oncology practices and hospitals across the country to implement and optimize scalp cooling therapy for patients facing chemotherapy. Scalp cooling is a non-invasive treatment that reduces hair loss caused by chemotherapy, improving the quality of life and self-esteem of cancer patients. I have over 5 years of experience in this role, and 2 years as a Patient Support Specialist with direct patient care. I am passionate about delivering exceptional clinical support, patient satisfaction, and account management in a realm where my efforts improve standard of care and quality of life for patients experiencing health challenges. My passion for scalp cooling stems from my personal journey as a cancer survivor. I underwent chemotherapy in 2014 and used a scalp cooling device to preserve my hair. I was so impressed by the results and the positive impact on my emotional well-being that I decided to join Dignitana, the producer of DigniCap, the first FDA cleared scalp cooling device. Since then, I have been working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and medical device experts to bring this innovative technology to more people facing cancer. My cancer journey also inspired a deep interest in health and disease prevention. Healthy living, a cancer-fighting diet, and elimination of toxic products for the home and body are other topics I am passionate about. As such, following my cancer recovery, I also worked as a consultant for Beautycounter, a company that offers safer and cleaner skincare and cosmetics products, where I educated and empowered women to make informed choices about their health and beauty.
