Works as civilian in U.S. Army Public Health Command [formerly Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine], Surface Water and Wastewater Program.Serves as a senior biological scientist with responsibility for evaluating the impact that various Army missions have or will have on the surrounding aquatic environment. Serves as lead project officer on wide-scale remediation efforts to include project design, coordination of laboratory support, collection of environmental samples, analysis of data and report preparation.Serves as expert technical surface water and wastewater consultant to customers and their oversight agencies on a variety of water quality issues to include federal regulations, permitting, wastewater and storm water discharges, aquatic contamination, bioaccumulation, and collection and interpretation of scientific data. Serves as a member of the Surface Water and Wastewater Program scientific dive team.
