Extensive Health/Social Care career over 25 years working with SEBD children/young people in children’s homes / educational settings as RSW; Team Leader;Unit Manager (14yrs Eden Grove School). Deputy/Registered Manager; DSL (6yrs - Witherslack Group). Worked in ‘Outstanding/Good establishments. Registered Manager, Sandcastle Care Ltd (4 years). I have now moved to a different exciting challenging role as 'Vocational Tutor' with Partnership Training Ltd' .Worked to engage and promote a positive professional development outlook for staff through training; professional development support; utilising my work experience; knowledge and high standard of working practices. Under my management and leadership staff have been promoted into senior manager roles; completed WFD level 3; 4 & 5 training; accessed external training through Lancaster Children Safeguarding Board.I have NVQ level 3, NVQ level 4; WFD level 5, BA Hons Social Work degree, and level 4 certificate in education and training (July 2020) and continue making a positive contribution to children and young people I have worked with YPs who have gained university placements; full time work and return successfully to their families on completion of their full-time school education. These achievements are a testimony to my professional commitment regarding my role and responsibilities.
