I am a commercially minded qualitative researcher with over 25 years experience across many FMCG sectors, charities and healthcare. I create and manage research projects that enable organisations to make consumer centric decisions about the brands and services they offer. After solid training from a number of top research agencies, I set up my own business which I succesfully ran for 14 years before setting up Steadman Insights Ltd. I conduct both traditional and on-line qualitative research including ethnographic interviews, on-line and face to face group discussions, in-store interviews, asynchronous communities, telephone interviews and co-creation workshops. I also facilitate research training workshops for clients helping them get closer to their consumers lives.I believe that the starting point for any successful research project is in the development of strong client relationships. My clients appreciate my down to earth style, my willingness to listen and learn and my determination to deliver the best possible research whilst having some fun along the way.My passion is in understanding people and this drives everything I do. I work hard to make sure I ask the right questions, listen carefully and build a rapport that allows for greater understanding and empathy. For me, identifying an unmet need that will help organisations deliver the right products and services to their consumers, shoppers or members defines success.
