CurrentI began working for The County as an accounts payable clerk. 6 months later I was promoted to Payroll & Benefits Manager. In that position I was responsible for bi-weekly payrolls for between 180 and 200 employees, educate and administer the benefits package, process work comp claims, filing federal and state reports, and various other duties as assigned and needed.I was promoted to HR Director when my predecessor retired in 2013. I still assist with many of the same tasks as before as well as have the added responsibility of overseeing big picture ideas for improvement of employee morale and safety. I also have the responsibility of researching and recommending the benefit package as well as administering it appropriately.
