Office Administrator
CurrentServe as lead advisor for union members and provide comprehensive oversight of all administrative needs for the office. Assess member’s qualifications for placement in jobs based on company needs. Coordinate with companies to ensure their collective agreements are aligned with the rates of pay, benefits, pension and travel expenses they must pay their employees. Provide resources to members regarding their benefit claims and liaises with our benefits department as needed. Address conflicts between members and companies to ensure all written agreements are being abided and advise negotiation as needed. Assist members with travel cards to other provinces and monitor the pension and benefits that are reciprocated back to the home local. Manage documentation for each member of the union to ensure compliance with union policies and collective agreements.
