During my time at Orion Engineered Carbons I tested numerous formulations of inks and coatings with carbon black as the pigment and traveled several times to customers and higher training courses. I was in charge of the safety program as well as all purchasing, capital purchasing included. I am trained in SAP.

At AEP I directly supervised 5 lab technicians and was in charge of all aspects of water quality and became well adept at treating the raw river water and making it pure enough to run through boiler tubes as well as turbines. I managed several large capital projects and oversaw the safety aspects of all projects and generated a significant cost savings to the plant by reducing the need for many water truck on plant site to make up water loss.

At Cabot I was accountable for ISO and quality system audits and was proficient with the LIMS system and was the final approval before products could leave the plant. I was solely responsible for doing all COAs for shipments. I trained many lab technicians on the day to day testing of carbon black.
