Through the 10 week internship, I was able to learn and excel in many aspects including:-Developed strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as relationship building skills through networking with different teams, global offices and senior management.-Developed strong sales skills through participating in ACTIVE training and applying that training through weekly mock sales pitches, competing and placing third in our mock competition with associates and senior representatives in attendance.-Developed better individual and team working skills by participating in sector deep dive group project presentations as well as exceling in individual work skills by completing multiple independent projects.-Gained proficiency in financial tools such as Morningstar and PIMCO pro as well as gaining better excel skills through administrative tasks. Through this, I was also able to create and defend a portfolio allocation for potential clients with certain needs through Pro.-Developed better understanding of the financial markets/industry as a whole while specializing in knowledge around fixed income and mutual fund as well as the other products PIMCO has to offer.
