The Vice President, Corporate Internal Audit, accountable to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and management with the following responsibility:- Provide assessments of the adequacy and effectiveness of the Corporation's processes for controlling its activities and managing its risks in the areas set forth under the mission and scope of work;- Report significant issues related to the processes for controlling the activities of the Corporation and its affiliates, including potential improvements to those processes, and provide information concerning such issues through resolution;- Periodically report on the status and results of the Audit Plan and the sufficiency of department resources;- Coordinate with other internal control and assurance functions including those organizations comprising the Total Audit Program and independent auditors; - Execute the Corporation’s Enterprise Risk Management process and facilitate the status of the risk reporting to the Board of Directors and its committees.

Vice President and General Manager of Lockheed Martin Undersea Systems line of business, based in Manassas, Va. Responsible for the development of next-generation undersea warfare systems, unmanned underwater vehicles, acoustic sensors, ruggedized computing, and command, control, communication, and network systems. Worked with international customers in more than 15 countries through a combination of foreign military sales and direct commercial sales. Undersea Systems employs more than 3,000 people in 10 locations, including operations in Eagan, MN; Syracuse and Mitchel Field, NY; Palm Beach and Clearwater, FL; San Diego, CA; and Adelaide, Australia.

Vice President of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense, based in Moorestown, NJ. Responsible for all aspects of execution, strategy and growth for domestic and international Maritime BMD (Ashore and a float) programs and baselines. Customer and political interface to understand the warfighter's requirements, keep programs sold, defend funding and develop opportunities for foreign military sales. Focused on talent identification, development and mentoring to support employee growth and retention.

A special assignment to the Lockheed Martin Simulation Training and Support Company President to lead the development and implement a company strategy to grow orders from $1B to $3B of orders by 2009. This represents an organic growth from $1B to $2B in three years. Led a cross functional team to develop a transformation roadmap to define the internal transformation required to achieve the growth objective. Communicate the roadmap to the employee base and transform the culture from a command and control style to an empowered, globally distributed, agile, customer facing organization. Develop and implement plans focused on improvements in customer intimacy, employee engagement and financial performance.

Increasing responsibility in the engineering and program management rising to the level of Program Director. During this time, I held assignments as engineering manager, chief engineer, program manager and program director for training programs with the Army and Marine Corps in the live, virtual and constructive training domains.
