Life is fascinating; so much is still a mystery to us.I have a passion for life sciences, especially cell biology. Ever since I first saw cells, our smallest building blocks of life, through a microscope, I was hooked but had so many questions. Today, I am still driven by finding answers to life's mysteries and making an impact with my contributions. I am inspired by how biotechnology continuously opens doors to solve current and future challenges and to reach the UN's Global Goals.My current role places me at the center of life science and communication.I am taking my scientific expertise and leadership experience to head PHI's global marketing. I am side by side creating meaningful content for our audience and identifying the impact of our activities regarding the company's marketing goals by monitoring and taking action on our key analytics.I got fascinated by communication and graphic design - combining visuals and text to explain complex matters simply. The latter is a constant challenge to scientists and, for me, a perfect challenge to tackle.My personal and professional experiences have so far taught me about myself:• I have an eye for detail and I am an organized person• I take joy in facilitating meetings, leading projects, people and taking responsibility• I value collaborating in a team, yet I work easily independent and self-driven• I love seeing results and how scientific findings translate into meaningful applications• I live for knowledge as new skills help me become a more competent problem solverPeople around me highlight my positive energy and that I bring smiles to the table.
