I am a partner in our Family team with over 12 years’ experience. I undertake all aspects of family law and have a wealth of experience in dealing with the financial consequences of relationship breakdown.My main areas of expertise are:divorce and separation, including dissolution of civil partnerships;financial consequences of relationship breakdown;private children matters;pre and post nuptial agreements;living together agreements; andcollaborative law.My experience includes advising on high net worth cases and cases which include complex company structures, and I have also advised intervenors within financial proceedings.I have considerable experience in dealing with complex private law children cases and have successfully represented parents in cases which involve internal relocation and parental alienation.I also help clients who are at the beginning of a relationship and advise them on pre-nuptial or post nuptial agreements and advise cohabitees on living together agreements, as well as advising cohabitees on relationship breakdown.I pride myself in providing my clients with clear advice on the options available to them, and on a practical level, and my aim is to assist my clients in reaching a resolution in a constructive and effective way, and which is suited to their individual needs. Where appropriate I make every effort to settle cases out of court. However, in cases where court proceedings are necessary, I am confident in representing my client’s best interests, and am an accomplished advocate.I have a wide and varied client base which includes members of the medical profession, business owners and professional sport and media personalities. In addition, I am a qualified collaborative lawyer and co-chair of the Solent Collaborative Pod and a member of Resolution and a keen participant in local Resolution events.I have also been named as a key lawyer in the leading independent directory, the Legal 500.
