Assisted patients and their families with identification and referrals for specialized services such as chemical dependency treatment, financial and employment counseling, legal services, and housing support. • Was recruited to the Ethics Committee to assist with ethical concerns and dilemmas related to direct patient care, medical treatment and planning, end of life issues, and patient/family conflict, as well as ethical concerns regarding ethics topics in health care and interpreting policy in relation to health care and medical research.• Was selected to participate in two Lean Process Improvement Workshops in order to assist in identifying methods to improve patient safety, quality of care, and efficiency during the inpatient stay and discharge planning processes.
