After relocating to Minnesota, I spent this time being placed by the educational staffing firm in a variety of temporary roles within the Hopkins Public School District. I worked with a diverse range of learners, colleagues, and leadership with each assignment. My success with this range of experiences and the people that I worked with during this time led.

• I returned to The Crest Academy during this time as an instructor during this time. I covered the absences and leaves of existing staff to provide quality learning experiences. This was a great way for me to return to.

I worked at this summer camp for multiple years in a variety of capacities. The break down of what I did here was: Camp Administrator (Summer 2010 & 2012)- Trained 150 staff on camp procedures, child development, transitioning roles from a camper to a counselor, working with campers, and conflict resolution.- Assisted camp directors in running daily camp.

• I co-founded and led the education nonprofit as the Head of Programs. I decided to launch this organization to fill a gap in the community and was successful in establishing a strong foundation for its long-term.
• Prepared the documentation and secured the 501(c)(3) status for the newly launched nonprofit.
• Cultivated new partnerships with community groups including BIPOC organizations to provide culturally responsive instruction and connection with the program participants.
• Recruited, trained, and managed volunteers at every level of the program to expand capabilities.
